not voices in her head,
but voices talking to her head
as if she were interchangeable
with every body that had occupied the same chair.
What happened to individualism,
What happened to advocating forward thinking,
to dynamic ideas,
to realizing the impossible?
What happened—were the words…
not the words she wanted to share,
but the words she’d heard too many times before.
She walked out.
