Where There’s Time

The past is a trap, a snare.
The future is fog, an illusion.
Right now is reality, a workable equation.

There’s more time for working in present time,
time not wasted in the faded past,
not wasted chasing a future too fast.

The time you see is the time before “to be”
and after “what was” has spent.
Cherish not bookends, but life in the present.
