Take away purpose,
take away life,
for “a pursuit” is no more the same
than empty lungs equal breathing.
It’s passion with determination,
so much more than rashness.
It’s learning and nurturing,
not dust in a barren field rendered sunless.
No luxury exists in quitting
when purpose is woven into your soul.
