This poem is for me,
battling what only I can see.
Years fighting,
yet again defying,
and refusing to surrender.
It’s probably not what you think,
not a psychological link.
They’re concerns,
and from them I’ve learned
I’ll always refuse to surrender.
No, this is about my arch nemesis,
hypersensitivity pneumonitis.
This is about lungs failing,
oxygen disappearing,
and still I’m refusing to surrender.
We Tauruses are stubborn
unwilling to cease despite the odds.
Encourage, look away,
or get out of my way,
I refuse to surrender.

Never underestimate the power of stubbornness/perseverance! Especially, when a Taurus is involved!
You bet! When we’re counted out we’re actually just getting going.
