And So It Begins—Again

Hello, everyone.

Here’s hoping you all had a great summer. This is a short note letting you know my summer hiatus is ending and my blog will return this coming Thursday, the first topic being what I did over my summer vacation, which was a lot, but more than anything I’m feeling quite renewed, my burnout left behind.

There will also be some minor changes to the blog…

First off, I recently sent out a resubscribe that should be used (especially by those in the European Union). What a fun task for this non-genius to figure out how to do, but I managed it. Hopefully everything will still work after sending that out and I won’t be sending my blog posts to penguins in Antartica (even if I do have a dedicated following there).

The other changes are minor. The blog posts will send a couple of hours later than they used to owing to life changes (I’m USA Mountain Time). Most of you probably won’t notice the difference. My posting days of Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday will remain, but there’ll be a change to content. I’ll post poetry on Tuesday only. Thursday will remain the blog and be updates on what I’m doing or writing content I want to share. Saturday will be a selected fact about the World of Ontyre. I’m making that change because, first and foremost, my website is dedicated to my fiction writing.

That’s all I have until Thursday afternoon. I’ll see you then!

  1. Welcome back to the bloggosphere!

Yes, this GC.. thing is kind of annoying, mostly because it’s incredibly vague. I still don’t know for certain what’s going on, or what has changed for those of us that handle our data responsibly (as long as the companies doing the actual handling are acting responsibly, as we assume). But, laws and regulations being what they are, I suppose this isn’t a new concept.

Great to see you around, doing well at work, still writing, and now coming back to deliver us part of your life’s story!

    • Thanks! It’s good to be back. There’s a chance I didn’t have to change the sign-up since I don’t market directly from my website, but I feared losing my EU readership so I went ahead with the changes anyway.

I was highly productive during my time away and return more focused and insanely ambitious with all that I’m attempting to accomplish between now and the end of the year. I’m loving every minute of it.

  2. Welcome back! 🙂 How did you find out about the huge following of penguins? Was there some kind of fan post? I look forward to your poetry and your little facts about Ontyre and everything else you’re going to share. Reading about your writing-adventures is always inspiring me to do better work, so i hope i will not miss a post!

    • Thank you! I get the Ice Cube Daily. You just put it in the microwave for a minute on defrost and it’s hot off the press. 😉

I’d love nothing more than if my writing adventures inspired you to keep working. There’s so much about the world I’ve never touched on … that was one of the revelations I had over the summer. Actually, it might be more that I haven’t touched on them in the right way.
